Welcome to Mar y Sol!
Mar y Sol opened its doors in February 1993 by its current owner Miguel Ángel Castrejon.
With the support of his parents Otilia “Lili” Curiel and José Luis Castrejon “Don Pepe” who was the one who chose the name of this place “Mar y Sol” becouse thanks to these two elements, national and international tourists visit every year this beautiful bay.
Day by day this place has been capturing the preference of many diners because here they can enjoy a rich variety of dishes for which mainly fresh products from the region are used, such as Fish, Shrimp, Octopus and especially Oysters, which is a typical product.

We have a commitment to always offer you fresh products, we have a large number of local suppliers, who offer us all products fresh from the sea, to guarantee the freshness and delicious flavor that characterizes us. For this reason, it is likely that on some visit we will not have a product.

Octopus on Garlic
Delicious octopus slowly cooked on the grill, marinated with a house recipe marinade, with pieces of guajillo chili, garlic and butter
Coconuts Shrimp
5 Giant shrimp covered with coconuts, served with sweet potsto puree, mando and jamaica sauce
Zarandeado Fish
Delicious and fresh red snapper prepared with a secret marinade with the grandmother’s recipe, marinated and slowly cooked on the grill
Garlic Seafood Casserole Arriero Style
Delicious combination of crab, shrimp, octopus, callus and pieces of fish, prepared with garlic and a touch of mulatto sauce.
